This feature enables you to reduce spam (spammy link inputs), as well as minimize user distraction.
Disable Comment IP Collection
Disable Comment IP Collection option allows you to to disable and remove the IP address info from the comments area in WP dashboard.
Furthermore, this option will prevent any future IP collection at source (nothing gets stored in your database), and it will also clear all previously stored IP addresses from the wp_comments
table in the database.
This helps your website become even more GDPR-friendly, and enhances any other privacy policies you may have in place.
Disable Comments
Disable Comments option allows you to disable the comment form site-wide from all WordPress pages, including posts, CPT, attachment pages, etc.
When enabled, this option will also hide the comment form from all your previously published posts and/or pages that had this functionality enabled.
By default, WordPress will apply the no comment rule only for new blog posts that were added only after the default no comment ruled has been applied. All previously published posts or pages with the comments option enabled, have to be manually reviewed.
Furthermore, Disable Comments option will also remove the Comments option from your WP dashboard.
Disable Existing Comments
Disable Existing Comments option allows you to hide all previously submitted comments from website's front view.
Comments will still be stored in your database for future edit and/or use, but they will not be available to the public eye.
Disable Links in Comments

This option helps reduce spam, malicious links posting and any other unwanted redirect that might harm your website's SEO.
Disable Blog
Disable Blog option allows you to remove and hide all Blog posting related features (posts, categories, tags, etc.) from the WP admin dashboard, as well as any other blog options from the frontend (if these existed at one point).
Extremely useful for websites that do not plan to use the posting feature at all, but a simple business presentation instead.
Revisions Control
Revisions Control option allows you to disable WordPress revisions, enable unlimited revisions or set up a custom number of revisions to save storage on your server and/or database.
WordPress revisions is a system that stores a record of every saved draft or published update.
Depending on your needs, determine which option would be the best for you:
- Unlimited: store an unlimited number of revisions.
- No Revisions: store no revisions.
- Custom Number: assign a custom number of revisions to store.
Some hosting providers control the WordPress revisions option on the hosting level, so you may not be able to manipulate this using our plugin.
Custom Revisions Number
Custom Revisions Number option appears if you select the Custom Number option for the Revisions Control feature.
Instead of using disabling revisions entirely, you can set up any reasonable number of revisions to store. For example, from 3 up to 10.
Apply Custom Revisions On
Apply Custom Revisions On option appears if you select the Custom Number option for the Revisions Control feature.
Available options for Apply Custom Revisions On include:
- All: custom number of revisions will be applied on all post types that support revisions without exception.
- Selected Items: custom number of revisions will be applied only on post types you choose and insert into the Revisions Post Type box.
Revisions Post Type
Revisions Post Type option appears if you select the Custom Number option for the Revisions Control feature, and if Selected Items option is selected for Apply Custom Revisions On item.
This option allows you to apply the selected revisions number only on specific post types, such as blog posts or pages.
The correct way to insert items in the box is items being separated by a coma ( , ), and without using space or any other special characters:
- correct: page,post,portfolio
- incorrect: page post
- also incorrect: page, post, portfolio
Disable Automatic Updates
This option enables you to control automatic updates in a bulk, for WordPress core, themes or plugins.
Available options include:
- Enable All Automatic Updates: all updates (WordPress core, themes and plugins) are enabled.
- Disable all automatic updates: all updates are disabled.
- Disable themes auto-updates: disable automatic updates for WordPress themes only.
- Disable plugins auto updates: disable automatic updates for WordPress plugins only.
- Disable all WordPress core updates: disable automatic updates for WordPress core only.
Disable Automatic Updates feature, if in use, only disables automatic updates. Updates are still visible (when available) and you can still update everything manually.
Automatic Updates control can be influenced by your server and/or hosting provider settings.
Disable Automatic Update Emails
Disable Automatic Update Emails option allows you to stop WordPress from sending you emails when automatic updates (WordPress Core, themes, plugins) have occurred on your website.
Administrators will no longer receive emails confirming each auto-update. This can cut down on inbox clutter for larger sites that auto-update frequently.
Disable Automatic Trash Emptying
Disable Automatic Trash Emptying option allows you to prevent WordPress from automatically deleting trashed posts, pages, and comments after 30 days (default WP value, though this value can be influenced by your server and/or hosting settings).
Any item moved to the Trash will remain there indefinitely until manually emptied, giving you more control over accidentally trashed content.
