Display Active Plugins First
Display Active Plugins First option enables you to display all active plugins on the Plugins > Installed Plugins page first, as opposed to the standard display method which only takes the alphabetical order into account.
Disable WordPress Dashboard Widgets
Disable WordPress Dashboard Widgets option enables you to remove any widget WP Dashboard, Dashboard > Home area.
Click the box to select one or multiple widgets.
Rename Posts Menu to Blog
Rename Posts Menu to Blog option allows you to rename the default Posts option in the WordPreass admin sidebar to Blog for a clearer terminology.
Extremely useful if you're managing a website for old-school clients or clients who are not that familiar with WordPress.
Hide Messages Except on Plugins Page
Hide Messages Except on Plugins Page option allows you to suppress all admin-notification or update messages on admin pages, except when you’re on the Plugins page.
Update warnings or notifications vanish on all admin screens (Dashboard, Posts, Pages, etc.), but when you go to “Plugins,” you still see plugin update alerts.
This reduces distractions for clients.
WP Update Messages to Admins Only
WP Update Messages to Admins Only option allows you to restrict WordPress core/plugin/theme update notifications so that only Administrator role users see them.
Editors, Authors, and other roles won’t see “Update Available” banners. Only Admins receive those notifications, reducing confusion for lower-level users.
Disable Theme Editor
Disable Theme Editor option allows you to completely remove the built-in Theme Editor option from Appearance menu in WP admin sidebar.
This enhances security, and prevents accidental or malicious theme file editing.
Some hosting providers have this restriction already in place.
Disable Plugin Editor
Disable Plugin Editor option allows you to completely remove the built-in Plugin Editor option from the Plugins menu in WP admin sidebar.
This enhances security, and prevents accidental or malicious plugin file editing.
Some hosting providers have this restriction already in place.
Remove Disable Option for Selected Plugins
Remove Disable Option for Selected Plugins option allows you to lock specific plugins so they cannot be deactivated via the dashboard, ensuring essential plugins remain active.
When an admin or editor views the Plugins list, the “Deactivate” link is removed for the plugins you choose, protecting mission-critical functionality.
Disable Site Admin Email Verification
Disable Site Admin Email Verification allows you to stop WordPress from periodically asking you to verify the site admin email address.
No “Please verify your email address” admin notices appear. This keeps the dashboard free of nagging messages, but also prevents other site admins from making unwanted changes.
