How To Access Template OceanWP Metabox Settings
Welcome to your Ocean eComm Treasure Box addon for WooCommerce!
All templates made under the Ocean eComm Treasure Box Template Builder suit to replace the content of the associated pages only.
That being said, whatever changes you apply through the template's OceanWP (metabox) Settings will not be applied on the page directly. Therefore, the settings you apply to the template can only be used for your convenience while building the template and to minimize the distraction.
All individual customization options for specific pages, must be done editing the relevant page's OceanWP Settings. Example, you want to change the header style on the Checkout page, you need to edit the Checkout page via Pages > All Pages.
You can access one of the most beloved OceanWP features - OceanWP Metabox Settings - within your custom eCommerce templates as well.
OceanWP MetaBox Settings for Template Builder Templates
While previewing templates you built for your custom eCommerce website within eCommerce OTB > Template Builder, in order to access the OceanWP Metabox Settings for a specific template file, you need to do the following:
- Hover over the template name (the template you wish to edit).
- Right-click (mouse click) on the Edit option.
- Select "Open link in a new tab" option. This will edit the template in WordPress in a new browser tab.
- Edit specific settings per need.
Why do you need to access the OceanWP Metabox Settings this way?
Because, in the Template Builder dashboard, the Edit option will trigger the template builder smart window only, as depicted in the screenshot below.
That's it!
