How To Use OTB Elementor Template Builder Widgets
Your Ocean eComm Treasure Box Addon for WooCommerce comes with a ton of widgets for the Elementor page builder, which you can use to create, style and optimize templates for your custom eCommerce website, whenever you want and how you want.

How To Properly use Elementor Template Builder Widgets
Available Elementor widgets intended for the Template Builder can only be used inside their respective Template Type.
What does this actually mean?
Example 1:
This means that, for example, you can use widgets from the "OceanWP Ecommerce Product Builder" category ONLY for the Single Product template type.
That being said, you can use, for example, the "Woo Product: Tabs" or "Woo Product: Rating" widgets ONLY for the Single Product template type.
You CANNOT use the "Woo Product: Tabs" or "Woo Product: Rating" widgets to create a Checkout or Shop template, or regular pages such as Home, Contact etc aka pages that are not intended to be used as custom templates.
Example 2:
Following the exact same logic, you can use the "Woo Shop: Horizontal Filter" widget only for the Shop template type.
You CANNOT use the Woo Shop: Horizontal Filter for the Single Product or any other template type, or regular pages such as Home, Contact etc aka pages that are not intended to be used as custom templates.
How To Know When To Use Particular Builder Widgets
Whenever in doubt which widgets can be used for a specific template type, please refer to our builder category names.
We've made sure to give each specific category a distinctive name following their purpose, and group them together for the ease of use and improved better experience:
- OceanWP eCommerce Product Builder: category which contains widgets to be used for the Single Product template type.
- OceanWP eCommerce Shop Builder: category which contains widgets to be used for the Shop (and archive) template type.
- OceanWP eCommerce Cart Builder: category which contains widgets to be used for the Cart template type.
- OceanWP eCommerce Checkout Builder: category which contains widgets to be used for the Checkout template type.

Widgets Category Exemption
Widgets placed into the General category (eCommerce OTB > Widgets) such as the Business Hours, Newsletter, Off Canvas etc. are displayed in the Elementor editor under the OceanWP Ecommerce Builder category.
These widgets, just as any other regular widgets coming from Elementor (like Heading, Spacer, Image, Icon Box, etc) or any other third-party Elementor-related plugin you may be using, can be used both:
- inside custom templates (eCommerce OTB > Template Builder), and
- anywhere on your website.
